MARCH FAVOURITES

Here it is, my first favourites post! March has been an utterly crazy month for me. I've been moving house and trying to set up my new make-up space in my new house, so I've been neglecting my blog a little! The struggle of finding the new perfect area to take blog photos is real. But anyway, I love to read these posts when other people write them as it gives me such a good idea of what beauty products I should try next, so hopefully someone is inspired by mine!

Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray - I waited a long time to try this product and I'm not sure why. It might be because I felt I didn't need it, or because I was waiting for my local Urban Decay counter to get it in stock finally! (I had a John Lewis gift card, and I wasn't paying £3 for click and collect. Nuh-uh!) but anyway, it's a great product and it's now an essential part of my routine. It really does help make-up to last longer. I've been using this a lot this month and so far I've had no breakouts. 10/10 from me!

L'oreal Lumi Magique Primer - This is my favourite primer right now. It's perfect for getting that dewy make-up look which I have been going for a lot this month. It's expensive at £10 for only 20ml but as it's drugstore, it's constantly on offer so I love that! If you haven't tried this, I highly recommend it.

Rimmel Brow Styling Gel - This is such a basic make-up item but I had to include it as it's kind of a splurge or save kind of product. I tried this after reading that the Anastasia gel wasn't much better than the Rimmel one and I'll definitely be saving my money now! The Rimmel one does the job just fine for me and ensures that I have perfect brows all day long, and at less than £5, you seriously can't go wrong!

NYX Lip Lingerie in 'Push Up' - This is the first liquid lipstick I've properly tried and I am utterly obsessed. I hated the ultra mattes from Colourpop as it felt like my lips were the desert. Literally. At first, I wasn't sure about this NYX one as throughout the day it goes kind of dry. I did then use a lip primer with it the other times I wore it and it was way better for me, so I'll definitely be purchasing some more shades! It applies kind of like a soft mousse and dries matte so the application leaves room for correcting any mistakes, which I love. This is my top favourite of the month!

Colourpop Highlighter in 'Lunch Money' - I've been loving this product this month because of the creamy formula. It's crazy pigmented too. *heart eyes emoji* I've actually had this product for a while but I recently totally forgot all about it, I have no idea why! It's crazy cheap as well, about £4. You can read how I get Colourpop to the uk right here!

Colourpop Super Shock Eyeshadow in 'Weenie' - I have a love hate relationship with Colourpop eyeshadows. They're more of a cream product if I'm honest which I'm not too keen on, however they last amazingly well over a primer, which makes me love them! I hate the lighter and matte shades from Colourpop, but the shimmery ones are wonderful! They really do look amazing if you pack it on the centre of the lid and they don't budge if you use UD primer potion. I recommend the shimmery ones for sure.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in 'Ivory' - This is a great concealer for highlighting with. It's not stupidly pale and doesn't cake up like the collection one does. The Rimmel Wake Me Up range is my favourite drugstore product as it gives a nice coverage without being cakey or looking like you're TOO dewy.

A blog I've been loving Emily! Her blog is full of lovely photos and I really love her posts. I really like it when someone blogs about something unique that people don't know much about, it breaks up from posts about lip gloss! Emily did that with her Invisalign post. Check her blog out if you get a minute!

  4. Totally wish we could get Colourpop so easily in the UK (without paying ridiculous prices for the postage with those third party shipping companies!) I've also had my eye on the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray, but it's always out of stock and a little pricey, but if it's definitely worth the money then it sounds great (my makeup never seems to last on my face that long!) xx

  5. Lovely picks! I wish it was easier to get Colourpop in the UK! I've been lusting over their eyeshadows for the longest time but just find it so much of a hassle to order them via a third party! Although I guess if I really want them that bad I should really make the effort to do that.. x

  10. The UD setting spray sounds great! I've been wondering if that step would actually make my makeup stay longer (oily skin problem!), but I really want to give it a go now. Funnily I've discovered Emily's blog a few days ago, and I'm loving it as well! :)

  11. Your blog is so lovely, Natasha, your instagram is beautiful too! I adore the UD spray and have it in 'Chill', as 'All Nighter' wasn't in stock for me, however, it's amazing! It locks even the smudgiest liner down and feels so refreshing too :D love your picks and beautiful photos! xx

  13. Ah I love Colourpop products! I find that their shadows go on best with a primer and if you use your fingers. That Lumi primer is really great too.
